Veduta™ Demo

Veduta can run as a demo on your machine right now with one click!.

This demo version of Veduta runs as a web server on your machine. It comes pre-loaded with demonstration data and allows you to discover how powerful Veduta is, and how easily you can interrogate and investigate log data.

The demo will install and run as a standalone Java process using Java Web Start™ (see here if you don't currently have Java available).

1. Launch the demo install here.

   

2. The download will begin. This may take several seconds depending on your network connection

3. You will get a dialog box similar to that below, asking permission to run code from OOPS Consultancy Ltd (i.e. this demo!). Select Run.

   

4. Veduta will install as a demo application. You will see the demo console, which will allow you to quit once you've finished.

   

5. Veduta is now running as a web server. Once it has started up, point your browser to:

   http://localhost:8080?date=20070405

   (Veduta may already drive your browser there if it has permissions)
6. When you're finished, simply hit Quit in the Veduta console window to exit Veduta.
